ABOUT VR Percussion
The Vista Ridge Percussion includes the Battery/Drumline and the Front Ensemble. VR percussion performs with the VR Ranger Marching Band, as well as in their own Percussion competitions.

Percussion is a co-curricular activity at Vista Ridge. That means that along with after-school rehearsals, our students also participate in percussion classes during the school day. As a member of our program, our students satisfy both their PE and Fine Arts credits. Percussion is a full year, double blocked course.

marching band rehearsals
During marching season, the color guard has one sectional night per week and two full marching band rehearsals. Below is the schedule for the majority of the season, although some exceptions apply.
Fall Percussion Rehearsals:
Tuesday - 4:05 PM to 6:45 PM
Wednesday - 4:05 PM to 6:15 PM
Thursday - 4:05 PM to 6:45 PM
